What we collect
- Enquiry details — when you send an enquiry (via our Google Form, email, phone or WhatsApp) we receive the details you provide: typically your name, contact details, site location and information about your project.
- Configurator selections — build summaries you choose to send us from our online configurators (product, dimensions, options). These contain no personal data until you attach them to an enquiry.
- Website analytics — anonymous usage statistics (pages visited, approximate location, device type) via Google Analytics, where enabled. See Cookies below.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare quotations (necessary to take steps prior to a contract).
- To carry out and document work you commission from us (performance of a contract, and our legal record-keeping obligations).
- To understand how the website is used and improve it (our legitimate interest in running an effective business).
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for third-party marketing.
Who we share it with
Service providers who process data on our behalf: Google (forms, email, analytics and file storage) and our accountancy/records systems. Where a project requires it and with your knowledge, relevant details may be shared with couriers, installers or waterway/marina authorities.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept while we deal with your enquiry and for up to two years afterwards. Records relating to quotations and completed work are kept for seven years to meet tax and warranty obligations.
